Job Description

  • Manages and co-ordinates Tzu Chi activities by leading, empowering and development the volunteers in scoping, planning, administration, execution, reporting and improvement of the routine planned and ad-hoc activities.
  • Manages the expectations of all different stake holders in organising Tzu Chi activities
  • Apply project management skills, analytical skills and targeted work objectives improvement tools when organising activities, ie OKR, data analytics, PDCA(plan-do-check-act)etc.

Major, routine and adhoc activities

  • Ensures target and objectives of activities planned are in line with the objectives of the organization
  • Keeps track on progress of activities, ie attend meeting, discussion with organising committee etc
  • Manages and follows up closely on administration of activity, ie procurement, documentation, payments, communication, publicity, reports, sharing, data analysis, improvements and etc.
  • works and liaises closely with the organizing committee, volunteer leaders, staffs, CEO team, and vendors for all activities
  • Provides regular updates on ongoing activities to management and stakeholders
  • Manages and maintains an updated annual activity list and communicates to all the interested stakeholders
  • Formalises and continuously improves the activity organising workflow processes with regular review of the work processes for improvement and needs using the PDCA cycle

    Job Requirements

    • Fluent in both verbal and written in English and Mandarin (need to liaise with Chinese-speaking volunteer)
    • Proficient in MS Office
    • Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/ 'O'; Level in any field.
    • Possess a good personality and strong communication skills.
